"At Grammie's House was inspired by our cherished memories at Grammie's picturesque lake house in Connecticut. This picture book takes young readers on a heartwarming journey through the magic of a grandmother's love.

"At Grammie's House" captures the essence of childhood wonder and the timeless bond between grandparent and grandchild. Set against the backdrop of a picturesque lake, the story unfolds through the eyes of a child who eagerly anticipates visits to Grammie's enchanting abode. Each page is filled with the warmth and nostalgia of a cherished family haven, where every moment is a treasure to be savored.

One unique feature of our book is the font: it's Grammie's actual handwriting! We took her handwritten letters and converted each character into our very own "Grammie Font" to preserve her memorable, beloved handwriting on every page.
Grammie was also an incredibly talented watercolor artist. To honor her creative legacy, we digitized four of her paintings and hung them on the walls in the dining room. She signed each of her paintings with her initials, "MEG" (Marjorie Emma Grinnell); as a tribute to Grammie and to add a fun little search-and-discovery element to the story, we've hidden her initials "MEG" in each of the pictures for you to find.
