my name is kelly and lady is my sweet great dane!
dane good was founded in 2022 with the goal of bringing you high quality, handmade products that can be shared with your family, friends, pets and used daily in your home. whether you're buying a self-care product for yourself, an accessory for your dog or a custom engraved gift for a friend; we THANK YOU for your support! we donate a portion of all sales to a pet rescue organization and our mission is to continue sharing our creations with you while also benefitting animals in need.
we use clean, non-toxic ingredients and are always brainstorming ways to create exceptional products while eliminating waste and optimizing each stage of productions. we have made MANY changes since dane good was born; we are so grateful to all of you for watching us grow, spreading the word, giving us great feedback and constantly supporting us.
we recently combined forces with karin, talented engraving artist and owner of TheBlackDoorCo to bring you a gorgeous selection of custom engraved products. karin’s creativity and design skills transform everyday items into lifelong keepsakes.

PRODUCT INFO
our candles are crafted with the utmost care – all hand-poured by kelly in small batches or made-to-order. we take pride in sourcing the best ingredients to bring you a beautiful product that’s also clean-burning + non-toxic. our luxury coconut apricot crème wax comes from renewable sources + is:
→ vegan
→ biodegradable
→ gluten-free
→ paraben-free
→ phthalate-free
→ skin-safe
our fragrances are carefully selected + are free of mutagens, reproductive toxins, organ toxins, acute toxins + carcinogens.
REFILL + REPURPOSE
all of our candles are designed for longevity and sustainability and can easily be refilled or repurposed! here are some ideas for repurposing your jars:
→ change holders
→ drinking glasses
→ plant / succulent pots
→ desk or office supplies

we’re all about it! If you’re interested in a blend of fragrances we offer, reach out via email with what you have in mind :) if you’re looking for a fragrance that we do not offer, shoot us an email and we’ll see what we can do.. we may require an additional fee and a quantity minimum for a special order but we’re always down to customize our candles for you.
can’t decide on a scent?!
selecting a fragrance online can be challenging! our scent discovery set is a great option for smelling 5 scents before committing to a larger size.
we’re also now offering 1 free tea light sample with each order; just type your scent selection in the notes section at checkout and we’ll ship it with your order!
CANDLE CARE 101
→ trim your wicks to 1/8-1/4" before every burn. trimming prevents soot + ensures a cleaner burn + longer lifespan. (don’t have wick trimmers? click here!) you can also use scissors or fingernail clippers to trim.
→ keep your candle lit for 2-3 hours on your first burn to avoid tunneling.
→ burn 4 hours max at a time. if you want to keep it going longer than 4 hours: extinguish your flame > let it cool > trim your wicks > relight 🙂
→ use your lid to keep dust out + good smells in.
→ dough bowls with toppings: before lighting, move or remove any toppings near wicks. once lit, remove any toppings that slide towards flame.
→ wood wicks: wood wicks are so fun! they bring a beautiful ambiance to any space and that little crackle is like music to my ears :) they still need to be trimmed before every burn AND, because no 2 slivers of wood are exactly the same, wood wicks require a bit more attention / maintenance. here’s how you can read your wicks to ensure the best / safest burn:
→ if flame is high, dancing + sooty: trim wick again.
→ if flame is low + struggling: extinguish → soak up some melted wax with a small piece of paper towel → relight.
CUSTOM ORDERS
the best way to place custom orders is on our website; ordering via instagam or shop might not give you full customization options.
photo requirements:
→ clear, close up photos
→ not fuzzy / blurry / pixely
→ limited background noise
→ nothing blocking the subject

for design proofs:
send us an email or DM after placing your order. 1st proof is included; for additional proofs you can pay via emailed invoice or venmo.
SHIPPING
turnaround time:
non-custom orders are typically mailed out within 1-2 business days. custom orders vary, depending on the items and quantity, but we are pretty speedy and typically get custom orders out within 2-3 days! feel free to reach out and let us know what you’re planning to order and we can give you an accurate idea of when it’ll be heading to you.
free shipping:
we offer free shipping on orders over $150! if your order qualifies for free shipping but you want it sooner than the free shipping speed, you still have the option to pay for faster shipping.
SHIP HAPPENS:
oh no! your order was damaged during shipping…now what?!
take LOTS of pics: shipping carriers require pictures of the outside packaging, inside packaging and the damaged products when we submit damage claims. email your pics to hello@danegood.com or DM on instagram @danegoodllc. we’ll send out a replacement ASAP for you!
